More about Anderson House: “Anderson House, completed in 1905 as the winter residence of Isabel and Larz Anderson and since 1938, the headquarters of the Society of the Cincinnati. Complete with grand entertaining spaces inspired by a variety of architectural styles and filled with the many artifacts from family’s extensive travels, Anderson House was built for social, political, and philanthropic events, welcoming amongst their guests—society notables, diplomats, military figures, and heads of state, including three U.S. presidents and the King of Siam (Thailand).

"In 1938, following the wishes of her late husband, Larz (himself a member of the Cincinnati), Isabel donated Anderson House to the Society of the Cincinnati to become its headquarters and museum. Today from Anderson House the Society continues its educational mission to perpetuate the legacy of the American Revolutionary War with its museum and library collections, public programs, and educational initiatives."
